Ridge Valley Stables

 

Imagine ambling along the scenic Blackstone Valley on horseback.  The sun shining over your shoulder as the Blackstone Canal shimmers to your side.  The soft clopping sound of your horses hooves touching the ground.

Or perhaps you prefer the scenery of Cape Cod.  Riding through the soft waves of the ocean and over the Dunes of Sandy Neck Beach.  Your day capped off by a traditional Shore Dinner.

Ridge Valley Stables can make these dreams come true.  In fact we do on a regular basis!

Ridge Valley Stables provides a variety of trail rides to please both the inexperienced rider and the advanced rider alike.  we have trails available that range from easy to more challenging and will tailor your ride to your ability and desire.

Rides are available seven days per week from 9 am to dark and are typically 60 to 90 minutes in length with longer rides available.   For the novice or less experienced rider, we recommend 60 minute rides.

We encourage you to reserve your ride at least three days in advance.  Walk-ins are always welcome on a space available basis. 

Our stable has a variety of horses to accommodate trail riders age, experience, height and weight.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you select a horse that is right for you.  The minimum age for trail rides is 10 years old.


Trail Rides
We offer 60 or 90 minute trail rides through the beautiful valley.  We can have a ride for just your group (minimum group size applies) or we you can ride with a other riders.  Either way the adventure and fun will be memorable!  We can also arrange longer rides for experienced riders.

Trail rides begin at $35 for an 60 minute ride and $50 for a 90 minute ride.


Half Day Blackstone Valley Ride
We offer half day rides through the scenic Blackstone Valley.  These rides are available by appointment only and typically last three to four hours and we would be pleased to happy to tailor you ride to meet your groups specific needs.

You will enjoy the scenery of the Blackstone Valley and the historic Blackstone Canal as you view it from the saddle as your small group of riders ambles through the creeks and along the lakes of the region.  Your ride will include include a mid-ride stop for a delicious picnic lunch.   

Blackstone Valley Rides start at $120 per person


Full Day Cape Cod Ride
This unique ride offers the ultimate in flexible schedules to meet your groups needs.  Your day can begin at our stables where you can help load the horses in the trailer, you can ride down with us, you can follow in your own vehicle or you can even meet us at the Cape.  The length of your ride will be tailored to fit your groups schedule.  Your schedule, Your preferences, Your ride, Your way!

Once we arrive at the Cape, we will stop at IHOP for a late breakfast (cost of breakfast is not included with the ride)  before heading to Sandy Neck Beach where we will mount the horses for a fun, exhilarating and relaxing ride.  We will ride through the surf of the New England Coast, ride over the sandy dunes and across the 6 miles of Sandy Neck Beach.  Following the ride, you are welcome to join us for a traditional New England Shore Dinner on the way home (cost of dinner is not included with the ride)

You will appreciate the individualized attention our guides will provide as they lead the small group of riders on what may very well be one of the most memorable days of their life.
