Local Trail Ride: Oakmont Farms
Beginning across the river, you will wind through forested hills and cross several streams. At the top of the first section, you emerge on the gas pipeline trail for a nice canter, then duck back into the Oakmont Farms Open Space trails to get to the ridge view overlooking the Blackstone River Valley. After that you trot through the pines and ferns (in season). Finally, you return via wooded trails to the river crossing and back to the barn.
